It also prepares Hebrew speakers, both Jewish and Arab, to be translation consultants and checkers. The IBLT draws from the expertise of premier local institutions while enhancing learning in the unique context of the Holy Land and its people. The goal of the Institute for Biblical Languages and Translation is to enable the training of sufficient consultants and mother tongue translators so that translation of the Old Testament can begin in every language by the year 2033. In 2019, 16 students graduated from the one-year MA program and the two-year MA program was launched with our partner organizations. 24 students graduated from the School of Biblical Hebrew in June and a new group of 29 students enrolled in the program in September. 48515 2182 The International Orality Network's (ION) vision is to influence the Body of Christ to make disciples of all oral learners.
