Families requesting assistance complete an eligibility form. They must state their income and their situation for short term aid. A family assessment is done to determine if there is an emergency need. The client fills out a receipt acknowledging the services received. Pt VI, Line 11b A draft of the Form 990 is approved by the Finance Committee and then presented to the full Board for approval. Pt VI, Line 15a Compensation for executive director is based on local comparables with inflation adjustments and requires full Board approval. Pt VI, Line 19 Governing documents and financial reports are available to the public by request at our office. Pt VI, Line 12c Director monitors Staff annually. Board members report any conflicts (or lack of conflicts) on an annual basis. Board chair is instructed to follow up on any conflict issues.
