If there are proposed transactions which could fall under the conflict of interest policy would be reviewed by a subgroup of the board which would exclude any member involved with the proposed transaction. Management and the board monitor compliance with this policy by annual certifications. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 15 The Executive Director completes a self-assessment of her performance during the prior year. This self-assessment is provided to a designated member of the board, who in turn consults with a subgroup of the board. That subgroup will prepare an evaluation of the Executive Director which is then reviewed with the board as a whole, seeking input from all members. A discussion is then held of evaluative points and salary recommendations, which includes consideration of SFCC's budget and finances. A designated member of the Board will then meet with the Executive Director and communicate summary points and goals for the following year.
