During the fiscal year ended May 31, 2019, there were changes in accounting personnel that affected Navajo Technical University's (NTU) year-end closeout. In addition, the financial accounting software was not generating accurate financial information, where a glitch was detected and subsequently fixed. As a result, there was a significant delay in completing the year-end audit which consisted of the Single Audit along with the final financial audit. Lastly, the COVID-19 pandemic has placed NTU in a position of office closures with limited on-site resource accessibility along with other restrictions. NTU is working towards operating at full capacity and an improved Enterprise Resource Planning system.
