Due to the COVID 19 Pandemic, there was no festival this year. Although there were no performances from March 2020 forward, there were costs associated with the planning to produce the spring productions, and costs to keep employees on staff even though the company was shuttered 80000 0 0 The Fort Worth Opera Studio, founded in 2002, includes four young Lesley Artists chosen each year from national auditions to be in residence with Fort Worth Opera in order to continue their training as they prepare for professional careers. They perform in the FWO children's' Opera Theater in addition to roles in festival productions as well as receiving lessons and coaching, language and movement classes as well as classes on Opera as a business.
