The milestones of 2019 are almost too numerous to list. In November, thanks to supporters of our Cooler Campaign, the Hub moved all its operations to its new temperature-controlled warehouse facility in Brattleboro. Now, for the first time, all products, vehicles, and personnel flow into and out of a single location. That means in 2020 we can focus on bringing in exciting new items, expanding our geographic reach in New England, and preparing for stringent third-party facility audits that will allow us to access untapped markets.Total Sales = $562,766While building our warehouse, we grew sales in southern VT and NH by 41%, to $562,840, and launched routes to the Upper Valley and Burlington. Some sales came out of our first product exchanges with other New England food hubs. Worked with 76 local farms and value-added food producers and 143 local food customers. Educated farms and value-added producers how to sell wholesale to local markets. Educated wholesale customers how to buy local and about the unique products and producers.
