Since then, they have hired a new CFO who is a CPA with non-profit experience. They have hired a new COO to lead the foundation's efforts in fulfilling their mission and vision. Due to the constant changeover and missing pieces in leadership, the organization suffered financial/monetary losses that would not allow them to complete their past audits. With the right leadership team in place and the financial bounce back of the foundation, a plan has been executed where the foundation will be current with all of their filings by the late spring of 2022.
