Weekly: (1) A Weekly Group Planting Training Program was held for most of 2020 with 2 groups of existing church planters and ministry leaders in training. One was held in person in San Diego and the other by Zoom. (2) Prepared for Church Planting and Conversion Growth consultations which CPL conducted during the year (3) Consulted with various church planting leaders via phone, email and face to face, in the USA primarily (4) Training materials were developed for upcoming Leadership Events and for several congregations (5) On leadership planting team for new Compass Church in San Diego near SDSU and involved in speaking and training and encouraging leaders (6) Did site visits to new churches and then consulted with the church planter afterwards. 0 0 0 Our part-time mission manager and bookkeeper assisted with managing the online cohort training materials and recordings of the online seminars and training events. 0 0 0 Our part time office assistant assisted in hosting and coordinating local events 0 0 0 4) The Director spoke and led trainings at Compass Church in San Diego 0 0 0 5) CPL supported 4 workers who are reaching and training university students in California and 2 countries in East Asia 0 0 0 6) Events: Kansas City, MO Church Planter training Retreat for the local Association. Regular bi-weekly online seminars and weekly local in-person Group Planting Cohorts have provided both training and support for church planters and workers in their fields of ministry. International: Online Classes in English and Chinese were offered to build international friendships and communication skills. Local: Hosted and worked with two overseas CPL worker families as they were in the USA in 2020 when Covid lockdowns hit. Outdoor patio Bible studies were held, both with our local Compass Church and to reach out to neighbors. Held training events for workers outdoors. Spoke at Outdoor Church Services in the local park near SDSU which begun when lockdowns closed indoor services. A complete package of information is given to our bookkeeper to prepare the Form 990, who used an online IRS approved website for Form 990 completion (Form990Online.org). The director assigned to review the tax return works with the bookkeeper during the entire tax return preparation process and dialogues all issues during the tax return preparation process. After the bookkeeper and assigned director agree that the return is accurate and complete, the final draft of the Form 990 is reviewed by the treasurer and president.
