Through social media platforms, the organization highlighted partner organizations working on criminal justice issues and directed followers to relevant breaking news. 1560807 2025000 Coalition Building / Outreach: The Coalition for Public Safety (CPS) continued engagement with core partners to form a bipartisan coalition of organizations that represent diverse memberships. CPS worked with its partners and other key criminal justice advocates to develop common principals and goals on justice issues, promoting a dialogue with their respective members about criminal justice issues.In 2020, the Coalition for Public Safety awarded significant grants to ten criminal justice organizations. The awardees were selected through a RFP process that drew over one hundred applicants.
