Our organization obtained a grant to provide nearly $17,000 in gift cards to support the basic needs of students at Columbia Basin College and WSU Tri-Cities. Our local United Way also facilitated the placement of nearly $405,000 in FEMA Emergency Food and Shelter funds with 13 local nonprofits. When the pandemic required closure of our non-profit training center, our organization converted the space into a PPE distribution depot and facilitated the ordering, inventorying, and distribution of 264,675 face masks and nearly 60,000 pieces of additional PPE to more than 50 local nonprofits.
