Normally over 25,000 people visit the library during the year. In 2020, due to strict state mandated COVID-19 quarantine requirements, public access was significantly limited. The organization had to adjust procedures to maintain delivery of core library services including computer access, on-line and drive through lending services, reference services and technical help. Coincident with the operation of the library, the organization offers book clubs, literary luncheons and various after school, preschool and summer programs for children to enhance the reading experience by encouraging topical discussions, interaction with authors and visualization of the written word.
