The school building has 12 classrooms and a capacity for 300-350 students.A water well complete with a commercial reverse osmosis filtration system providing clean water for the school and the surrounding village was completed in June 2018 marking the first time this village has had clean drinking water available. This water is made available to anyone in the village regardless if they have an affiliation with the school or not.Various humanitarian efforts directed at surrounding villages were conducted including medical camps and the disbursement of food, blankets, and mosquito nets.In addition to these humanitarian efforts, AIM4India also provided rice to approximately 1,200 people who were starving due to a national lockdown implemented by the Indian government. When the Covid-19 Pandemic hit India, the national government instituted a lockdown to prevent the spread of the virus. Because the poor and impoverished were unable to leave their homes, they could not work or obtain food from late March through early May. Aim4India provided the families of the school's students with rice during this time so that our students and their families could avoid starvation. We receive receipts for the use of money on most things. Receipts seem to be a foreign concept in India, so they are hard to attain. Over the course of the last year we have demanded that the distributors and suppliers of material for the school provide us with a receipt. Godwin's monthly expenses are documented with receipts that he scans and sends to AIM4India.2. We receive pictures of the materials/needs in which we have sent money to India. For example, most of these pictures were of the progress being made on the construction of the school.3. AIM4India's Executive Director (John Hall) and various directors travel to India several times a year. On these trips, the directors visually confirm that the things purchased with the grant making/money sent to India is actually used on the things that AIM4India claims they are purchasing in India. Although, John Hall was unable to travel to India in 2020.
