Pt VI, Line 19 The organization made its governing documents, conflict of interest policy, and financial statements available to the public during the tax year upon written request. Pt VI, Line 6 The organization has members as defined in the Texas Business Organization Code. There is an annual membership meeting at which the members elect or appoint directors as needed to fill vacancies or expired terms and may consider such other business as is presented to the members. Each member is entitled to one vote. Any member may resign by delivering written resignation to any officer or director. The Board of Directors may terminate the membership of any member at any time with or without cause. Pt VI, Line 7a Directors shall be elected by the vote of the members. Pt VI, Line 12c All employees and board members are required to notify the board of any conflicts of interest. Each new employee and board member is provided a copy of the conflict of interest policy and asked to sign an acknowledgement. Annually, all employees and board members are provided a copy of the most current revision and are required to sign an acknowledgement. Pt VI, Line 15a The organization participates in salary surveys with other faith based nonprofits, subscribes to surveys by the Christian Leadership Alliance and the National Association of Nonprofits, and conducts a salary survey of their own. Pt VI, Line 15b The organization does not have any employees that meet the salary threshold for key employees, however, it follows the same process as described above for Pt VI, Line 15a, for all officers and employees. Pt XII, Line 1 Organization's financial statements were compiled by an independent accountant and prepared on the modified cash basis of accounting.
