The interns' experiences enriches their educational and personal development in addition to increasing their awareness of the important roles community foundation and philanthropy play in a community's quality of life. In addition, the full board shall receive a copy of the IRS Form 990 (and other required filings) before submission. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 12c The Indiana Philanthropy Alliance Foundation, Inc. conflict of interest policy covers all Indiana Philanthropy Alliance Foundation board members, officers and staff. Board members, officers and staff have the responsibility to disclose the existence of any conflict or appearance of a conflict to the President/CEO or the Chair of the Board of Directors at the earliest possible time. The board member, officer or staff with the conflict or potential for appearance of conflict is expected to excuse himself or herself from any involvement in any decision related to the matter. This does not prevent a board member, officer or staff member from briefly stating his/her position in the matter, or from answering pertinent questions related to the matter. Any board members with a potential conflict of interest must recuse themselves from the compensation recommendation.
