This support was made possible by individual contributions from major donors and grassroots supporters, as well as through significant grant funding. Panzi implements a four-pillar holistic healing model that combines comprehensive, compassionate medical treatment with access to psychosocial support, socio-economic reintegration activities, and access to legal services. With PFUSA's financial support, Panzi was able to initiate and continue a number of important projects on the ground in DRC, including but not limited to: mobile clinics and rapid response missions to treat survivors in last-mile communities; after-care services for survivors; capacity-building for the staff; direct support for services rendered at the hospital; and COVID-19 preparedness, testing, and treatment.
