The Association established a deferred compensation plan (a 457 Plan subject to Code section 457(f)). The name of the Plan as adopted by the Association is the Kansas Hospital Association Deferred Compensation Plan. During the calendar year ended 12/31/2020, the Association contributed $100,000 to the Plan on behalf of Thomas L. Bell, President of the Association. These funds had been segregated into a separate account. During the calendar year ended 12/31/2020, the entire fair market value of the account amounting to $1,035,393 was transferred to Thomas L. Bell upon his retirement.
