The Foundation is classified as an exempt organization under 509(a)(1). The Organization follows generally accepted accounting principles for uncertainty in income taxes. The Organization's income tax filings are subject to audit by various taxing authorities. In evaluating the Organization's activities, the Organization believes its position of tax-exempt status is current based on current facts and circumstances.
