Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 15 Donor Alliance utilizes a compensation consultant along with independent third party surveys, and Association of Organ Procurement Organizations (AOPO) surveys to evaluate and make salary range adjustments to the top Executives (CEO, CFO, & COO) Survey results are communicated annually to the Executive Compensation Committee (ECC), a subset of the Board of Directors. Staff are not present at the meetings while their compensation is discussed. The chair of the ECC facilitates an annual performance appraisal of the CEO with the full Board using predetermined goals and competencies that were established by the Board. The CEO is responsible for completing a performance appraisal of the CFO and COO positions based on predetermined goals and competencies. After all information is presented, the ECC approves compensation levels for the next year. Key employees are evaluated annually by Executive Leadership (CEO, CFO, COO) and salary increases are based on performance within prescribed salary ranges. The Human Resources Director reviews independent surveys to ensure salary ranges are reasonable compared to organizations of similar size and scope and increases in salary are given based on predetermined goals and competencies.
