FLOW is a non-juried, self guided tour of studios, galleries, theaters, commercial and vacant spaces over a mile and a half of the West Broadway corridor. From b-boys to ballet, graffiti to graphite, rap to rhapsody, fine artist to arts, practicing to professional, FLOW showcases the great art being made every day on the Northside. FLOW is a program of the West Broadway Coalition that showcases over Northside artists of all ages and experiences at various locations around the community with an exciting weekend of indoor and outdoor activities. Open Streets West Broadway: Open Streets Minneapolis is part of a global movement to make streets places that put people first. During these free, family-friendly events local nonprofit Our Streets Minneapolis partners with the City of Minneapolis to temporarily close major thoroughfares to car traffic, opening them to people biking, walking, rolling, and connecting with neighbors and local businesses. Open Streets Minneapolis events help us experience streets as public spaces where communities thrive. These events spark transformative changes in how people think about streets. At each Open Streets Minneapolis event, local businesses, artists, community groups, and institutions come out into the street to play. Black Friday on Broadway: Black Friday on Broadway (BFOB) is a collaboration between the Northside Economic Opportunity Network (NEON) and the West Broadway Business and Area Coalition (WBC).
