During the 2020-2021 school year, 56 students participated in Racing the Sun with the help of community mentors and received 40 hours of direct support. 35525 Arizona STEM Adventure- AZ STEM Adventure provided 12 virtual and hands-on STEM activities over a one week period with 3 teacher professional development sessions, serving 1,800 students and 49 teachers. SARSEF built and distributed 1,670 kits and donated any extra supplies to teachers, parents, and schools, to serve another 1,160 students. Building the bags took roughly 20 volunteers and over 100 volunteer hours to complete.
