He has a week to return any questions or comments on the return. Upon agreement of the Finance Committee Chair, the Form 990 is approved for final submission. Pt VI, Line 12c: The Foundation requires the Board and all staff to annually read and sign the conflict of interest policy. During each board meeting when a vote is on the floor for approval, the chair will ask if anyone has a conflict and if so that board member abstain from voting. Pt VI, Line 15a: The Executive Director is evaluated annually by the Board of Directors. Comparability data and a written report are placed in personnel file. Pt VI, Line 15b: The Executive Director performs evaluations of other managers. Copies of the evaluations are placed in the manager's personnel file. Pt VI, Line 19: The Foundation's governing documents, all policy documents, and financial statements are available upon request from an individual or organization to the Foundation. Other: The Foundation received a one-time special contribution of $32.4m in 2016 as part of Bank of America's satisfaction of its Consumer Relief obligations, set forth in Annex 2 of the settlement. Per Annex 2, all state-based IOLTA organizations received a portion of the special contribution pro rata based on each state's poverty population. The Foundation's board of directors granted the first of two 2-year grants for foreclosure prevention legal assistance and community redevelopment legal assistance. Pt VII The State Bar of Texas pays for various expenses incurred by the Foundation, including postage, printing, salaries and fringe benefit expenses. The Foundation usually reimburses the State Bar of Texas for these expenses.
