This is the second year the Taxpayer has failed the 33 1/3 Public Support Test. They have already begun to rectify this situation. Public Support more than double from 2018 to 2019 ($85,476 to $171,092). Due to COVID 19 we could not continue the gains we have made into 2020. The goal for the next five years is to continue to expand our donor base within our broader community. The Taxpayer was successful in obtaining over $100,000 in local grants in 2019 which is significantly more than they had in 2018. For 2020 grants were $84,955. This effort will continue into the future resulting in an increase in grant support. The Triangle Club Incs donor base includes a growing membership body with a broad spectrum of participants. They recently reduced their dues to attract new membership. Their membership includes medical doctors, lawyers, and local health facilities in the community. In addition, they regularly partner with other nonprofit agencies in the community to reach common goals and reduced cost. The officers and directors are diverse and consist of 2 mental health practitioners, a corrections officer, an attorney, a homemaker, and two retirees. The additional 15% of public support needed to be at the full 33 1/3% support is quite acheivable and we are hopeful this will be met in the upcoming years. Due to COVID 19, this past year we were unable to achieve our goal. The Triangle Club is essential to the community to help those afflicted by the disease of alcoholism to have a place to socialize and continue to recover from their disease. We keep them on file for the department of agriculture. If we are making financial decisions and we find a conflict of interest exist then that company or person would be excluded from consideration.
