The following is a summary of the changes: 1. Adjusted the number of trustees required to 13-25 to allow for possibility of trustee removal. 2. Officers must be a trustee. 3. Remote meetings can now be called through the decision of the executive committee. 4. President and Treasurer term are for 2 years. 4. Removed requirement of the COT having an odd number of committee members. On an annual basis, the board members shall be provided with a copy of this policy and are required to complete and sign the acknowledgement and disclosure form. The Secretary of the board of trustees is responsible for distributing, collecting, and reviewing signed statements from all board members. Each year, relevant comparable data is secured and reviewed by The Executive Committee prior to setting The Head of School's salary. Each year as part of the budget setting and review process, compensation data from Carey's local competitor schools via the CAL-ISBOA survey are reviewed and analyzed as the basis for setting compensation for Faculty/Staff.
