The intervention has several components: outreach and screening, health assessment and health education classes and referrals to medical and socioeconomic services. In 2023 the project staff served 420 residents, providing screening for dental and primary care services, enrolled residents in GED and other technical programs. We measure health outcomes. Participants reduce BMI, increased intake of fruits and vegetables and increase exercise activities. 55600 The Orange County Fatherhood program services 30 fathers with children 18 years and younger residing in Orange County. The project provides parenting classes and wrap around social services for fathers and families. In 2022, the project staff served over 100 fathers and provided wrap around services to include referrals for medical, employment and housing. A large percentage of the clients became employed with a living wage.
