whereby the Louisville Orchestra Legacy Fund was established at CFL for the sole benefit of the Orchestra. Upon the transfer of the assets previously held by the Foundation to the Louisville Orchestra Legacy Fund, the Foundation was dissolved. The distribution from CFL to the Orchestra is shown on the Statement of Revenue, Part VIII Line 1d, which reflects the beneficial interest in Louisville Orchestra Legacy Endowment Fund held by the Community Foundation of Louisville, Inc. In fiscal year 2018, the Louisville Orchestra Endowment, Inc. (the "LOE") was formed as a non-profit organization devoted to privately solicit and receive contributions and gifts with the purpose of distributing its funds for public, charitable and/or educational purposes. Any distributions or payments by the LOE shall be made only to or for the benefit of the Orchestra. The LOE had assets of $2,389,360 and no distributions were made to the Orchestra at the year end May 31, 2020.
