Any questions that any Director has, with respect to the Form 990, are then directed to the President of EXPANCO. The Form 990 is prepared annually from the audited financial statements. It is reviewed by the Finance Committee of the Board prior to being filed. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 12c EXPANCO has a written conflict of interest policy. A new conflict of interest policy is signed and acknowledged by every officer, director and key employee. This is done by the first Board of Directors meeting of each calendar year. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 15 The President of EXPANCO is given his (or her) annual review by the Personnel Committee of the Board of Directors. Initial and annual increases in compensation and benefits are first approved by the Personnel Committee and the subsequently approved by the entire Board of Directors. The President of EXPANCO will make recommendations for initial and annual increases in compensation for all other employees to the Personnel Committee. The Personnel Committee with then approve and make recommendations to the entire Board of Directors, who then will ratify or modify the recommendation. The Board of Directors have final approval authority. Form 990, Part VI, Section C, Line 19 Any of the governing documents of EXPANCO, including it's Conflict of Interest Policy and its financial statements are available upon request. EXPANCO's annual tax return, Form 990, is also available for public access through various internet web sites. The Form 990 information is completed from the annual audited financial statements that are prepared by an outside independent account firm. In early 2020 EXPANCO, Inc, as part of its 40 years of being in operation, decided to rebrand. As part of this rebranding it decided to change its name to AMPLIFY. This was done in August 2020 by filing with the Secretary of the State of Texas as a DBA. It was our understanding that this was a name change and the original Form 990 that filed in July, 2021 had the Name Change box marked in B on the first page of the Form 990. It was our understanding that we were required to file a paper return if this box was checked. The paper Form 990 was filed on time and we would request that any fees associated with this error be waived. Thank You.
