It included a COVID safe outdoor exhibition, and indoor exhibition and a permanent on-line exhibition that now contains the biographies of over 300 women. The project also included a virtual lecture series. 40241 Museum Program: The organization collects, preserves, and presents early landmarks of historical significance to the Town of Little Compton for the education and enrichment of the community. LCHS maintains historic buildings including Wilbor House, Friends Meeting House, Archival Barn,19th Century Barn, 19th Century Carriage House, Peggotty Artist Studio, Peaked Top School, Corn Crib, Privy, and the Chicken Food Cookhouse. The collection includes approximately 13,000 objects, photos, and documents relating to the history of Little Compton. 9158 Education Program: The organization runs youth summer camps, school programs, and adult programs that serve to educate the community about the history of Little Compton. The education program serves approximately 500 participants per year. During the COVID-19 pandemic, these programs were conducted virtually. 5480 Farm Exhibit, Archaeological Dig, 20th Century Art 1643 Remember Me was a public history program that actively recruited public support for Little Comptons 46 historic cemeteries. Historical Society staff and volunteers did deep primary source research into the history of each cemetery to write an accurate history for each. The society also recruited and trained 95 volunteers to clean 950 gravestones and hired conservators to repair approximamtely 25 broken gravestones.
