SVdP Exeter offers emergency food to low income individuals and families who are residents of Exeter, Stratham, Newfields, Brentwood, Kensington and East Kingston on a monthly basis. Items available are housed on our shelves, in coolers and freezers including fresh vegetables, milk, butter, eggs, bread and pastries, large meat selection, non-perishable packaged items and personal care items. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 15 The Executive Committee determines the compensation for the Executive Director. Salary surveys are reviewed for similar sized nonprofits. Form 990, Part VI, Section C, Line 19 The documents, policies and financial statements are available upon request and are filed with the State of New Hampshire for public viewing. Tax returns are also available on a number of websites Form 990, Part XII, Line 2b The financial documents are reviewed by the Board, Finance Committee and an independent CPA firm. SVdP Exeter obtained and exemption from the NH State Audit requirement for 2020 due to an one-time single large bequest that was received. Form 990, Part XII, Line 2c During 2020 the Board authorized the Finance Commottee to engage the services of an independent CPA firm for the purpose of conducting a financial review of the 2019 and 2020 public financial statements of the organization. A paper hard copy of Form 990 and schedules were prepared and mailed to the IRS on February 5, 2021. The IRS stamped the forms as received in Ogden UT on February 26, 2021. We were notified by letter on August 25, 2021 that hard copies were no longer acceptable and that the e-file process had to be utilized. The e-file copy has now been prepared and is being submitted.
