We also offered a series of 122 educational webinars, 14 podcasts episodes, and published a book to supplement the teachings from the seminars. In addition we offered online developmental courses, advocacy for job placement, and our mentorship program. Part III, line 3 The biggest change in 2020 was the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. From 2017-2019 Soldiers To Sidelines (STS) raised the majority of its revenue through live events which were cancelled. Additionally, The STS program services were mainly live events which were eliminated due to the pandemic. STS was able to adjust and adapt by providing services and programs virtually. This was possible because of the procurement of a PPP loan. The loan was used to fund our management and administration responsibilities to ensure the proper creation, dissemination, and tracking of our services through staffing. As a result, the ratio of program expenses to overhead expenses is skewed this year because the loan was allocated for administration and management while the donations were used to fund our program services directly. Part VI, Section B, Line 11b The Treasurer and the Executive Director review internal financial accounting records to prepare the 990 form. The Treasurer prepares the 990 filing. The Executive Director then checks the work and makes any necessary adjustments. Then the Treasurer reviews and signs off on the final 990 submission. The Executive Director files the 990 form.
