Managed Actvities The Days of '47 Inc. (supported organization) approves the rodeo dates and activities held in conjunction with the Days of '47 parade and other activities. Activities and events of both organizations are promoted together via their websites, newspaper press releases, and articles. The supported organization appoints two board members to the Days of '47 Rodeo Salt Lake board. The board president of the supported organization serves on the Days of '47 Rodeo Salt Lake board of directors. He is crucial in coordinating sponsors and is the liaison between the two organizations. He works with television stations and coordinates TV interviews with contestants and sponsors. We receive his prior approval on operations that are necessary from the Days of '47 Inc. We also coordinate with the Supported Organization on dignitary and Rodeo Queen appearances and other outside plaza events.
