His compensation, consisting of base salary, pension, life insurance and health benefits, is for his services to both organizations. The Athletic Department has not been able to determine the allocation of his salary between his services to the Team Makers Club versus the Athletic Department. The NDSUAD uses a national compensation survey on an annual basis to determine the reasonableness of compensation.The amount paid to Derrick in 2021 for services to both organizations includes $81,006 in salary and $28,028 in benefits for a total of $109,034. The members of the corporation shall consist of all persons making a minimum annual investment as established by the Board of Directors. Within this class of members there are currently 11 subclasses based on how much the member gives annually to the Organization.
