Pt VI, Line 6 OpenStack has three types of members: platinum, gold, and individual. A. Platinum members are companies that make significant strategic commitments to the foundation in funding and other resources. Platinum members have a high level of involvement in OpenStack strategy and resources. Each platinum member appoints an individual to the OpenStack board of directors. Platinum Member Requirements: (1) Corporate strategy is aligned with OpenStack's mission. (2) Provides $500,000 per year in funding to OpenStack. B. Gold members are companies that provide funding and other resources, but at a lower level than Platinum members. Gold members as a class elect individuals to tbe OpenStack board. Gold Member Requirements: (1) Corporate strategy is aligned with OpenStack's mission. (2) Provides funding equal to 0.025% of member revenue, with a minimum $50,000 and maximum of $200,000. C. Individual members can join for free and participate on their own or as part of their paid employment. These members have a right to run for and vote for a number of leadership positions.
