During the corona virus epidemic in India, The Window Foundation supported a volunteer to assist others to plan, travel, educate, provide food and water to people in desperate need to approximately 60 villages and bustees, some as much as 3 hours from the city. She speaks several dialects and could communicate with villagers who had no education. She was able to train the villagers how to protect themselves from covid. She distributed masks, food, sanitary pads and gave covid and polio vaccines. She provided medical information to girls and women about the use of sanitary pads and family planning.
