Schedule O, COVID-19 Impact on the community: The public health crisis had a definite impact on McKinley and those we serve. However, through the diligence of our team and support from our communities, we were able to maintain a high level of service. Mitigating COVID risks was a priority, and tremendous efforts were made to provide access to testing and PPEs, along with extensive contact tracing. Our school initially moved to distance learning, with our team personally delivering work packets on a weekly basis while providing instruction and other services to students electronically. We safely brought students back to in-person learning in cohorts when allowed. McKinley's mental health services remained uninterrupted as we moved to telehealth, while still seeing youth and adults in person as needed. Our Foster Care and Short Term Residential programs continued to accept youth during the pandemic, and we continually worked with the teams to provide for their care during this unprecedented time. We also lead fundraising campaigns during this time to help provide technology access to those we serve so that their access to much needed services would remain available.
