The contest closed in early January 2021. The intent of the activity was to spread interest & excitement about human space exploration. 2) Events - Since 2021 was still affected by social distancing requirements, SciArt Exchange engaged mostly in virtual displays & events, sharing artwork from various activities and their experience. 3) Training - SciArt Exchange continued to present materials through lectures, hands-on, & workshop formats to help train participants in space exploration, science communication, creativity & teamwork using art-integration techniques, but these materials were presented largely virtually. SciArt Exchange also mentored communications interns, contributing to their career development, while also boosting the frequency of the nonprofit's online offerings. This was both an unexpected and unsolicited grant from this private foundation. It is our understanding that they searched the internet and talked with others in deciding to award SciArt Exchange this grant. Club for the Future is a private foundation that focuses on diversity, equity and inclusion in the education and aerospace community. The grant is unrestricted with one exception: the funds cannot in any way be used to purchase any goods or services from Blue Origin or its affiliates. We are very grateful that we have received these funds, especially during the time of Covid-19 when our programs continued, but at a severely reduced level due to the lockdowns. These funds will give our organization sustaniability and will have greater impact to fulfill our mission. We are not acticipating any future grants of this kind and therefore we will work diligently to solicit the usual individual and corporation donations in order to increase our public support test percentage over the 33.33% level. The return is then sent out to the Board of Directors for review and comment within 2 weeks of receipt. Any comments are sent to the CPA for incorporation and then the final return is filed. Pt VI, Line 12c Annually, each Board member is required to evaluate and report any potential Conflict of Interest. At the beginning of each committee meeting, we also remind each member to consider and verbalize any potential conflicts.
