Activities of the Institute included analyzing the proposed legislation, communicating with members of the Institute concerning the proposed legislation and meeting with members of Congress and the New York State Legislature and their staffs to discuss the impact of the proposed legislation on the U.S. operations of international banks. The Institute also submitted comments to federal agencies on regulations and other initiatives that will impact the U.S. operations of international banks.
