The 3 main program services provided were two 3-Day classes, and one 2-Day Outdoor Program. All programs are for 10 children ages 3-5. The 3-Day programs meet Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and run from 8:45-11:45 with the option to stay for lunch or extend the day to 2:30. Each class includes: Generous amount of time in which each child is encouraged to choose activities, explore, discover, touch, create, pretend, and relate to others; Clean-up time: all pitch in and several have specific jobs to do; Group time focusing on music and movement, conversation, stories, and problem solving; Snack time in which the children taste a wide variety of food; Time for gross motor activities outdoors (or indoors when the weather doesn't cooperate.); and Lunch Time where the teachers eat with the children. All activities are planned by the classroom teacher to stimulate social, emotional, intellectual, and physical growth in your child. Due to Covid, a focus is put on spending as much time outdoors as possible ~ large platforms were built to provide outdoor space for classroom activities, snack and lunch. Hikes are scheduled as many days as possible. The 2 Day Outdoor Enrichment program runs Tuesdays and Fridays from 8:30-11:30 with an option to stay for lunch. There are 3 separate sessions (Fall, Winter and Spring), with no program being provided during the coldest months of December and January. This program is a solely outdoor program ~ there is no indoor space to gather, so on days of significantly inclement weather, the class is canceled. The children have access to a porta potty and outdoor sink, along with a fenced in area with a gathering spot and several picnic tables. However, the majority of the time the group is out on the trails and in the meadow exploring, creating, and interacting with each other and nature. Pt VI, Line 2 One voting member is the daughter-in-law of the Director (Director does not have voting privileges). Pt VI, Line 11b 990 is prepared by the Director, Treasurer, and Accountant. It is submitted for review to the Board of Directors in advance of filing. Directors have the opportunity to raise questions or seek clarification before filing is submitted.
