Over fifty thousand youth sleep on the streets for six months or more each year. At least thirteen youth die on the streets each day. To assist homeless and at-risk youth, StandUp for Kids provides services through our (4) core services; Street Outreach, Housing Support, Outreach/Drop-In Centers and Mentoring Programs. These services provide them with comfort items (food, clothing, hygiene products, etc.); vital information regarding available resources to meet their needs; housing; and advocacy and other resources to assist in alleviating the problem of youth homelessness and prepare them for self-sufficiency.
