The Farm produced 3.4 tons of fresh produce and distributed the produce through local community groups serving Frogtown's lowest income residents (more than 2000 people served). The organization made capital improvements such constructing raised beds and fencing around the hoop house thanks to Xcel Energy's generous sponsorship implemented through the Heart of America Foundation. 76955 0 3500 Our programming included Farm tours, weekly volunteer workdays engaging more than one hundred volunteers over the season, collaboration with Saint Paul Public Schools' Office of Early Learning's Starting Transitions Early to Promote Success (STEPS) Fall program held onsite at the Farm, five theater productions attended by more than 300 area residents, collaboration with Chelle's Kitchen/Lachelle Cunningham to conduct three on-site cooking classes, and a cooking class at nearby St. Stephanus Lutheran Church that was filmed and available free to the public on the Frogtown Farm YouTube channel (Harvest of the Soul), collaboration with the University of St. Catherine on two classes with weekly sessions held at the Farm.
