Combined they contributed 1275 hours of service.On Friday afternoons we host 4-10 youth from an alternative Education School (New School).In addition to the youth hours we open to adults on Wednesdays evenings and the community at large on Sundays. We have 14 regular volunteering adults.In addition to the arts center we brought our traveling mosaic studio to the public. We set up our studio and engaged with the public at 30 farmers markets, the Strawberry Festival, Dios De Los Muertos in the Park, and four times each we went to six homeless shelters to engage with the homeless population of our county. We estimate we engaged with 760 individuals at these combined events.As a post COVID Service we have hosted Welcome Back Together gatherings for 6 businesses and nonprofits. These organizations brought staff to our center as a way to reconnect with each other after a long period of work from home was ending and the staff needed some time to be with each other in a non-work environment. 76 adults attended these events. All of the people served above helped contribute to one very large public art project:Hermanita is a 40 wide by 60 tall mosaic on the Watsonville Civic Parking Garage.
