We were not notified until June 14, 2022 that our file was rejected. We are a non profit and did not want to pay an outside firm to process our complicated 990 report (cost $2500) or buy software ($20,000) to process electronic returns as we only need to process our one return. The IRS requires us to electronically file but does not have access to electronically file the return without an additional charge. I found this FORM990ONLINE site that will charge $200 to process 1 form and it has taken me 3 days to enter our data into their system. Furthermore, we will budget $200 expense each year to file our return electronically to the IRS so that we can be in compliance. Thanks for your understanding.
