The recipients of these scholarships are chosen by the Career & Technical Education (CTE) Advisory Committee, shich is composed of local business leaders, Powhatan County Public Schools teachers and Powhatan County Public School administrators. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 8: The Foundation awarded two scholarships of $1,000 each, in the name of Cynthia D. Wilkinson, in recognition of the time and energy she volunteered to create a lasting framework for improving public education in Powhatan County. The Powhatan High School Scholarship Committee is responsible for selecting the scholarship recipients based on criteria set forthe by the Foundation.
