In 2022, 416 seniors were directly served by Jubilee's programming. Jubilee enhances programming through strategic partnerships in order to provide the highest quality services for our community. Jubilee was proud to partner with the Dallas Regional Chamber and their 2022 Leadership Dallas Class, to renovate our Community Outreach space to house two new offices, an updated reception area, and a fully operational, client-choice food pantry that will open to serve our neighbors early in 2023. 829472 0 0 Education: : Jubilee's holistic Out-of-School-Time (OST) Program offers the only free, certified high-quality afterschool and summer programs in Southeast Dallas. For area students in grades K-12, Jubilee if often the only resource available for additional academic support, enrichment, skill building, and exposure to extra-curricular activities. 2022 saw Jubilee's OST Program return to full capacity after the pandemic, serving 287 children and providing more than 36,000 hours of academic and enrichment activities. All this occurred while we continued to adapt our schedule and offerings to meet the needs of Dallas ISD students who are on different campus calendars as schools seek to help close the educational gaps exacerbated during the COVID-19 crisis. Our Teen Program has expanded to serve 6-12 grade students with a continued focus on mentorship, leadership development, college and career readiness, and service learning. Jubilee is the only program in the area, and possibly the city, to supplement our OST work by providing our Specialized Student Support (S3) program. S3 serves students with learning differences such as dyslexia, ADHD. S3 combines diagnostic tools, trained interventionists, one-one-one and small group support, as well as parent education to maximize each student's success. 510536 0 12167 Health & Wellness: Jubilee significantly expanded its work in Health and Wellness in 2022. In response to feedback given through a community needs assessment, Jubilee embarked on a campaign to bring needed resources to our community members and increase health equity in our neighborhood. The Jubilee Park Community Clinic opened in August of 2022, offering a first of its kind model between three partners to provide integrated services that include point of service medical and dental care, education and preventive health and wellness programming, and mental health services. In just the first five months of operations, the Clinic provided 1,269 medical appointments. Jubilee Park operates the 15,000 sq.ft. clinic in partnership with our county hospital system, Parkland Health, as well as Jewish Family Service, which has had a presence at Jubilee for 5 years providing mental health services and served 128 clients in 2022. Jubilee provides health and wellness education classes; youth sports programming; community activities for all ages like yoga, Zumba, walking clubs, cooking classes; as well and continued pop up services like blood pressure monitoring, mammograms, and others. In 2022, Jubilee served 282 adults in health education and programming, 304 children participated in youth sports, 515 individuals attended our annual Health Expo, and we provided 10 screening/pop up clinics in the early part of the year prior to the Clinic opening. Jubilee also provides daily meals to all children in our afterschool program and summer camps, serves congregant meals for senior citizens twice per week, and is a host site for our regional food bank to provide fresh produce and nonperishable food boxes each month. In 2022, Jubilee provided 22,005 meals to children and seniors and 902 food boxes were distributed. The park at the center of our campus continues to be the only safe green space for family recreation within walking distance to thousands of Southeast Dallas residents. It includes a soccer field, basketball courts, a playground, open green space, and picnic areas. 320738 106848 0 Affordable Housing: Jubilee Park and Community Center serves as an advocate for residents and a facilitator of community-led initiatives for home improvement. Jubilee works to ensure that its neighbors have access and information to rent or own safe, quality housing. These efforts have included the construction of new housing, repair of owner-occupied homes, homebuyer education, property tax workshops, and more.
