Furthermore, RNM is committed to addressing the need to remove conditions that lead to abject poverty, cycles of disease, and ill health, especially among children and women through sustainable development. Working with donor partners and volunteers, RNM focuses on reducing shortages of sanitary water as it shares the gospel of Christ the living water to improve school attendance, health & hygiene habits for the desperately poor. RNM also uses solar power for safe Water Access, and Hygiene education as a tool for its integral mission, thereby using the opportunity to share the love of Christ through its intentional gospel proclamation. We had 2 fundraising campaigns in 2022 during the 2nd quarter in April - a Walk 4 Water and the October Water Relief Gala events to raise money for the ministry. Both functions were reasonably well attended by about 135 different volunteers for the Walk and some 70 attendees to the Gala Dinner fundraiser. We also used the September 9/11 Shell Oil Company Heroes Program to help us raise some matching funds to reach the minimum public support level of 33% of the funds raised in 2022 as well as during the "Giving Tuesday" cause awareness in November. The majority of our funds came from the 3-year grants from the Giles family foundation. We also got a few specific water well project funding from individual donors and partners like the Dominion Church in Dickinson, Texas that partnered with RNM to do a few projects early in 2023. Some of our drilling equipment that were out of service and aging badly were sold in late 2022 and the funds applied towards well drilling projects, and our Workshop site construction in Nigeria. RNM also funded the remodeling of the Boys Orphanage in India, built them a toilet, and drilled a new well at their location that is shared with the villagers in CHIBROLE and helped renovate the church they attend. Similarly, the first Orphanage building construction was helped with funding to do some foundation work and pillar installation before the local leaders paused the project citing some need for a particular permit. Our teams continues to work on Health & Hygiene education everywhere to make significant hygiene behavior changes among women and children in the WASH programs. Overall, we completed some 40 well projects (new, and rehabs) with some 20 well site visits to prior year projects to ensure their functionality, reinforce hygiene training, provide food, and gifts of clothing, etc. as we share the gospel of Christ as the need arises and among those interested in learning more about the love of Jesus Christ. 58500 X 58500 Other international charity work we did was to provide food, and support for staff/teachers at 3 Orphanages / Widow Care ministries or partners in India and did a water well rehab for an Orphanage in Nigeria. Provided a motorbike to Orphanage 2 in India for food and miscellaneous transportation services.
