Our partnerships continued to include numerous educators, community members and organizations to maximize optimal results. Theres been an alarming increase in neurodiversity disorders since Covid, especially in early childhood. Educators and early childhood centers requested a way to talk about mental health and isolation that was fun and engaging. Student struggles in the classroom are not unique to one demographic, but are experienced and reported by nearly every school. This is alarming in a childs development. Working with licensed psychologists we created puppet shows that help children understand that you are okay just as you are and you can talk about whatever youre feeling. From libraries to community centers to classrooms, it proved to be a great success. Both children and adults learned that they are not alone, and how to talk to each other especially when they are in need. 42477 0 11552 Our outreach program continues to develop and offer professional and curriculum development that is used by PrK-6 schools, high schools, national colleges, and school districts around critical literacy fundamentals that are wrapped in artistic fun and joy to improve student success. We also helped complete a community mural, and fostered and facilitated conversations to empower individuals and communities. This connection to community is at the heart of what we do. The more we work together, the better our communities become.
