Beloit Health System (supported organization) supervises the activities and financial results of the Auxiliary, thereby maintaining a close and working relationship. Schedule A, Part V, Section D, Line 8 Beloit Health System Auxiliary's distribution of $10,209 met the requirement test for 2022. Other reasons distributions to Beloit Health System Foundation to which the Auxiliary is responsive are as follows: 1) Auxiliary only gives to the Foundation, which in turn only gives to Beloit Health System. 2) The Health System provides the office space and pays wages of the Auxiliary's staff. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11b The Auxiliary's financial statements and Form 990 were compiled by staff from Beloit Health System's accounting staff. When Form 990 is completed, a draft copy of the return is given to the Auxiliary's Executive Committee for review prior to filing Form 990. If no changes are recommended by the committee, Form 990 will then be e-filed. As in years past, it has been our normal process to extend this return every year, so there is adequate time to prepare the most accurate return. We did manage to extend our related organizations Form 990s on time this year (Beloit Health System 39-1028081 and Beloit Health System Foundation 39-1477854). Unfortunately, this year we just missed filing the extension on the Auxiliary return. This is a very small volunteer support organization to Beloit Memorial Hospital and are hoping for any late filing penalties to be waived because of this error. Thank you for the consideration.
