What made this kitchen different was that is was created inside a shipping container instead of being built of brick and mortar. The concept reduces construction costs & time. Conditions in the community, located 18 miles west of San Miguel de Allende, made it necessary to place it by crane. The donation & re-design of the interior of the container was a gift from long-time donor and architect/builder Arq.
