Prior to receiving a scholarship payment each Reach student submits to Escalera proof of their continued enrollment in school. Often teachers and schools submit this evidence in bulk on behalf of their students. Escalera also receives administrative records from the state of Chiapas confirming enrollment status of students. Teacher incentives are given to volunteer teachers who administer Escalera's entrepreneurial curriculum in their classroom.
