WIOA places an emphasis on the development of career pathways. As of December 31, 2021, the Organization incurred $289,829 of expenses related to this program.The majority of Goodwills program expenses are incurred by our store operations which drive the revenue to support our various programs. Goodwill Industries of Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties collects, processes, and sells used donated goods from the community which in turn allows the Organization to organize and operate Sheltered Workshops where people with severe disabilities are able to learn skills in order to secure meaningful employment.
