Be Kind Now Inc intends to bring like-minded people together for charitable initiatives to create lasting change in their lives and communities, by fighting deprivation of basic needs like food, shelter, clothing, education, etc. Hunger Relief Mission - Be Kind continued its Hunger Relief Mission in a big way by renting trucks through out the year and with the help of Pallets received from Amazon, Walmart and with the great community partnerships with local food pantries and service as well as nonprofit organizations, we were privileged to transport and distribute 42 Pallets, 7446 cases, 860 bags and 6 truck loads of non-perishable canned & boxed foods, drinks and other basic household needs to several non-profit food pantries and kitchens. These donations will help feed hundreds if not thousands of individuals and food insecure families. 0 26960 NJ Hunger Project - Be Kind partnered with another nonprofit One Project to help fight food insecurity in our local communities. Over 1000 volunteers came together on August 13, 2022, and packed 101,550 meals to be distributed through Mercer Street Friends to other food pantries in the area. Be Kind intends to make this an annual endeavor. 0 13600 Meal Packing Events - Be Kind singlehandedly hosted 5 meal packing events over 2022, packaged and collaborated with local food banks to distribute 22,000 meals to the food insecure.
